Ajman University of Science and Technology in the UAE said Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, vice chairman of the university's board of trustees, recently toured and inspected the Sheikh Zayed Center for Exhibition and Conferences’ new admissions facility.
Al Nuaimi met with deans and directors and discussed the importance of ensuring ease in executing the admission process.
Al Nuaimi was accompanied in the inspection by Khalid Al Khaja, the university's acting chancello and vice chancellor for academic and administrative affairs, and Abdul Haq Al Nuaimi, vice chancellor for student affairs and community service.
Al Khaja noted that the university has decided to remain open on weekends, allowing students – especially those with full-time jobs – to study on the campus. Weekend classes will include offering from the College of Mass Communication and Humanities, College of Information Technology and College of Law.
