While discussing the progress of preparations for the fifth annual Made in Qatar exhibition, Qatar Chamber leaders noted that 80 percent of the space has been booked.

The event, which will run Nov. 6-9, will be held outside Qatar for the first time. The exhibit will be in the Saudi Arabian capital, Riyadh.

Made in Qatar will take place in a 10,000-square-meter space, and Qatar Chamber Director General Saleh al-Sharqi said it will bring together multiple industry-leading Qatari businesses. More than 220 firms participated in the previous year’s events, and leaders expect November’s exhibit to be twice as large.

The event will feature numerous top Qatari companies as well as small and medium enterprises, with a goal of introducing attendees to different Qatari industries and the Saudi business community.

Saudi Arabia’s stellar economic experience made the country a top choice to host the Made in Qatar event for its launch abroad.
