Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) Senior Director of Basic Development and Innovative Education Mohammed Al Sabba'a recently announced the launch of a series of online presentations focused on helping civil servants meet all necessary training requirements.
“This is in line with the cost rationalization policy, and to provide alternative solutions to ensure running the training process at a lower cost," he said.
BIPA had already launched a successful training experiment online, and will now offer a range of online training services for employees in government organizations and various ministries. The goal is to help all involved conform to BIPA’s vision of “Developed Government Performance for Sustainable Development.”
Al Sabba’a noted that the new online presentation will take the form of short training sessions that include introductory presentations followed by interaction and question-and-answer sessions.
"This initiative will serve to increase online communications among specialists and practitioners in a synchronous manner for knowledge enrichment and enhancement of know-how, skills and capabilities in various aspects of public administration,” Al Sabba'a said. “It will also provide more opportunities for those who wish to embark upon self-development in public administration branches at a very low cost with conventional presentations, dissemination of distance training and employment of state-of-the-art technologies in the training and education processes.”
