The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) recently announced that it has completed the training of 15 specialists and officials, setting them up to lead the developmental drive of transforming Dubai’s medical health system.
The DHA has formed 96 teams to grow this transformation, part of its 2016/2021 strategy.
In a recent meeting chaired by Humaid Al Qatami, chairman of the board and director general of DHA, members of council and executive managers of hospitals and sectors discussed the importance of a yearly platform wherein UAE specialists go over opportunities. The focus would be on growing DHA’s international medical system.
During the meeting, those in attendance examined recent achievements toward the overall strategy, including the DHA’s instilling of a culture of change among its cadres and creating an office of organizational transformation.
Al Qatami noted that the DHA looks to grow its sustainable health system to better respond to the future needs of society, focusing on building high-class medical services. Implementing the various parts of its 2016/2021 plan will take collaboration between the authority and its strategic partners. Al Qatami called on all concerned individuals to redouble their efforts in the next phase of the plan.
