Hill International has been awarded a contract from Health Assurance Hospitals Company (Dhaman) to provide project and construction management services for two new hospitals being built in Kuwait.
The three year contract is worth approximately $13.1 million.
Each hospital, to be built in Al Ahmadi and Al Jahra, will have 300 beds, staff accommodation buildings and parking facilities.
Dhaman was established as part of Kuwait’s National Healthcare Expansion Plan. In response to projected population growth, Dhaman plans to build hospitals and clinics across Kuwait.
“We look forward to helping Dhaman deliver these important hospital projects,” Mohammed Al Rais, regional president (Middle East) for Hill’s project management group, said. “We understand the importance of timely delivery for these types of health care facilities and we are confident that our team will meet or exceed all expectations.”
