ENOC Processing Company LLC (EPCL), a subsidiary of Emirates
National Oil Company (ENOC), recently received international recognition for
its quality control laboratory.
The ENOC Refinery received ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17025:2005,
two important certificates that provide credibility to its laboratory
management systems and its technical competency.
“With over two decades’ experience in the refining business,
EPCL established a reputation of manufacturing world-class products for local
and global customers, and is a key facet of ENOC’s ability to deliver on its
mandate of securing Dubai’s energy needs,” Saif Al Falasi, group
CEO for ENOC, said.
Al Falasi noted that EPCL focuses on efficiency and
environmental sustainability. He believes the certificates showcase the company’s
commitment to these principles.
Tayyeb Al Mulla, managing director for supply and trade
processing at ENOC, also weighed in on the certificates.
“Petroleum is a key resource for this region, responsible
for everything from running our cars, to the electricity in our homes,” Al
Mulla said. “Leveraging the maximum capabilities of petroleum is a complex and
delicate process and such certifications are critical to ensuring that we
follow the highest standards of skill and safety.”
