The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in partnership
with the organization Knowledge Expansion, will host the inaugural National
Treasure Initiative in Dubai on Sept. 27-28.
At the event, more than 30 regional business leaders known
for leadership, success and visionary thinking will come together to celebrate entrepreneurship.
The initiative aims to complement Dubai Chamber’s Tejar Dubai entrepreneurship
development program for training creative young minds in the region.
“The conference, which offers attendees with strategic
knowledge in management and career achievement while allowing the young
generation to shift their focus from idea generation to idea execution with the
help of the region’s most pragmatic leaders and visionaries who share their
tried and tested insights into making dreams a reality, will help budding
entrepreneurs to hone their talent in establishing their own small-to-medium-sized
businesses,” Essa Al Zaabi, senior vice president at the Dubai Chamber and general coordinator of Tejar Dubai, said.
Panel speakers at the event will include Lubna Qassim, group chief general counsel and company secretary, Emirates NBD (PJSC); Dr.
Maryam Matar, founder and chairperson, UAE Genetic Diseases Association; Dr
Hayat Sindi, goodwill ambassador, UNESCO; Sarah Shuhail, general director of EWA’A Shelters for Women and Children; and Abdullatif Alsayegh, chairman of Alsayegh Media.
