Ajman University said it offered an exploratory tour of the emirate for incoming freshmen
in conjunction with the Department of Tourism Development.
Students toured Ajman for two days,
viewing such cultural attractions as the Ajman Museum, home to an extensive
history of the emirate; Ajman Corniche, a culture melting pot full of food from
around the region; and the Al Zorah golf club and
Shakespeare Cafe. The students were able to see the historically bustling fish
market, where an auction takes place as soon as fish are brought into the
dock.
