Bahrain
Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), under the patronage of the Central
Bank of Bahrain, recently honored graduates of its International Diploma and Undergraduate
Programs with the U.K.'s Bangor University.
The BIBF
offers the program in conjunction with Bangor University as part of a
relationship that has reached its 10th year.
BIBF
Director Solveig Nicklos addressed the graduates at the ceremony held at the ART
Rotana Hotel in Amwaj Islands, encouraging them to use the theoretical and applied skills gained to grow strong professional careers.
Bangor University President and Vice Chairman John Hughes gave a speech
at the event and announced his pride in the long relationship between the two
organizations.
“Bangor
University has had remarkable relationship with the BIBF since the launch of
the Banking & Finance programs in 2004,” Hughes said. “The first cohort

and since then over 450 have completed their honors degrees at our university.
The BIBF students have performed exceptionally well obtaining high degree
classifications every year with a substantial number of first-class awards,
including the top students in the business school.”
