Thuraya announces plans for next-generation constellation, allowing for massive expansion
The firm plans to conduct a massive transformation on its L-band network and enhance its satellite coverage area with the launch of next-generation satellites by 2020.

We now have access to new markets, and new technological resources provide a unique portfolio services, applications and mobile products.”
Thuraya has spent the last six years significantly turning around business performance -- overcoming limited coverage of obstacles, legacy issues and a market with many challenges. The company will use this as a base for future positioning.
