McLarens recently appointed Malcolm Addy to lead its new office in Dubai.
The global claims service provider opened the Dubai office to further meet the needs of its clients throughout the Middle East.
“I am honored to lead the UAE team and to develop and strengthen McLarens’ existing presence in the Middle East," Addy said.
As the new country manager for McLarens, Addy will also oversee the company's operations in its existing Abu Dhabi location.
Addy has worked in the Middle East for 19 years and has more than three decades of experience in managing loss adjustments and dealing with major losses in numerous sectors including energy, utility and power generation. He has served as a sole adjuster on many LNG and petrochemical projects. Prior to joining McLarens, Addy worked as manager of Dubai operations at Charles Taylor Adjusting.
"We’re pleased to have someone of Malcolm’s calibre and positive reputation to run our operation in the UAE and to handle high-profile technical claims," Chris Panes, COO for the regions of Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific at McLarens, said. "His appointment complements our existing Middle East team and will strengthen our service offering in the UAE."
