Omran recently announced the
opening of the Al Hoota Cave tourist attraction in Oman after enhancements were made to the facilities.
School children became the first guests to visit
the renovated experience, led by Sheikh Khalifa Al
Saadi, governor of Al Dakhiliyah.
“I’m very pleased to officially reopen the Al Hoota Cave
for visitors to once again come and enjoy this natural wonder,” Al Saadi said. “Omran
and the Ministry of Tourism have done a fantastic job to make this attraction
an even better place for people to come and visit.”
Guests to the facilities
experienced traditional Omani music at the reception, followed by a tour of the
visitor center for a history of the cave, and finally an interactive geological
museum showcasing more than 150 items of rock, wood, corals and other unique
materials.
“We thank His Excellency Dr.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Saadi, governor of Al Dakhiliyah, for officially
opening the attraction today,” Khalid Mirza, director of projects development at Omran, said. “Omran worked exceptionally hard with the Ministry of
Tourism to enhance the Al Hoota Cave experience and to be able to welcome the
first visitors back is fantastic.”
