Dubai Chamber set to host Global Islamic Economy Summit

The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry is set to host the third Global Islamic Economy Summit, which will feature decision makers, speakers and researchers from the field of Islamic economy.
The event, titled “Inspiring Change,” will take place Oct. 11 and 12 in Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai.
“The elite group of speakers and researchers in the sectors of Islamic economics that this year’s summit is set to attract from around the world stands to enrich the discussions and foster a greater exchange of knowledge and opinions with regards to finding sustainable solutions to the issues affecting the Islamic economy,” Majid Saif Al Ghurair, chairman of Dubai Chamber and board member of the Dubai Islamic Economy Development Centre, said.
Speakers will come from companies such as Fitch Global credit rating agency, Awqaf and Minor Affairs Authority, Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation for Education and Capital Markets Authority Kenya.
The keynote address will be given by Abdulaziz Al Ghurair, chairman of Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation for Education, CEO of Mashreq Group and a member of the board of Abdullah Al Ghurair Group.
