Saudi KAD, a leading engineering, procurement and
construction company (EPC), recently won the contractor job for several Saudi
Aramco pipeline projects related to the Master Gas Program Phase II, and the
Fadhili Gas Program.
Saudi KAD will help in the EPC phase for the pipeline network
that will be 1,118 kilometers in length. The pipelines should enhance Saudi
Aramco’s capabilities, allowing it to deliver gas to plants and
facilities throughout the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Saudi KAD will also conduct EPC
work for Valve Stations, Metering Systems, Launcher and Receiver Stations,
Fiber Optic Cables, along with road and rail crossings.
“We are deeply honored by the trust placed in Saudi KAD
by Saudi Aramco's award of these strategic projects,” Ahmad
Al-Jabr, chairman of Saudi KAD, said. “It clearly demonstrates
Saudi Aramco's commitment towards supporting and growing national contractors
for the greater benefit of our national economy. Saudi KAD will reciprocate
this trust through meeting every commitment on the awarded projects, and
continuing to pursue our aggressive localization agenda.”
All aspects of Saudi KAD’s work will be conducted
within the country, highlighting the company’s commitment to investing
locally.
