At a recent event in its auditorium, staff, faculty and
management from the HCT-Al Ain Women’s College (AAWC) met to
welcome new hires to the AAWC team.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and
every one of you for all your hard work and effort these past few weeks,” AAWC Director Hamsa Al Ammari said. “I’ve seen your
dedication, your commitment and your team spirit in helping each other to
satisfy our students and their parents. Each and every department has done a
marvelous job that is highly recognized and appreciated. Congratulations on
this success, and I hope to share more and more in the future.”
Al Ammari spoke at length about the university’s
recent successes and ideas, including its AAWC Organizational Excellence
Initiative, which seeks to enhance, introduce or eliminate certain processes within the university. At the conclusion of the event, Al Ammari presented a
special award to Duha Diab, Academic Services supervisor.
“The beginning of each academic
year is considered one of the busiest times in all colleges and universities,”
Al Ammari said. “Today I would like to thank Mrs.
Duha for her outstanding effort to ensure all students are registered on time
and schedules are efficiently done in a timely manner. Knowing that we are
short of staff in her department, I believe that her effort is unforgettable
and it makes us proud to have her in our team.”
