The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently
hosted a panel discussion with the Tadweer Center of Waste Management about the
services of the center in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.
In attendance at the panel were Abu Dhabi Chamber board members Dr. Mubarak Al-Ameri and Ahmed Al Soudin, along with Abdullah Al-Qubaisi, deputy director general of the Abu
Dhabi Chamber, and Dr. Salem Al-Kaabi, deputy director general of Tadweer.
Additionally, representatives from more than 100 companies from Abu Dhabi came
to the event.
Al-Qubaisi gave the welcoming speech, talking about the chamber’s mission to inform companies of the private sector
about the services of Tadweer.
“Within the frame of its new
strategy 2016-2020, the Abu Dhabi Chamber works towards increasing the direct
contact between the companies of the private sector with the official
authorities in order to convey their opinions, proposals and views on the
services of such authorities,” Al-Qubaisi said.
Finally, Al-Qubaisi praised Tadweer for its role in enhancing
competitiveness within the Abu Dhabi economic sector. This enhanced competitiveness
helps attract international companies to invest in the sector, as envisioned by
Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030.
