Thani Al-Rumaithi, chairman of the Federation of the
UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of
Commerce and Industry, recently received Gegham Gharibjanian, ambassador of
Armenia to the UAE, at the Chamber’s Tower in Abu Dhabi.
The two met to discuss how to grow cooperation relations
between businessmen and companies in the two regions. Al-Rumaithi delivered a presentation
on Abu Dhabi’s economy and economic vision. He
spoke of plans and projects underway in the emirate that all fall in line with
Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030. He also spoke of the upcoming Armenian
delegation to Abu Dhabi and how he hopes the delegation visit leads to the
signing of agreements between Emirati and Armenian economic and financial
establishments.
“Such agreements will expand the scope of economic and
investment cooperation and realize new partnerships between the companies of
the private sector in both countries,” he said.
Abdullah Al-Qubaisi, deputy director general of the
Abu Dhabi Chamber, attended the meeting, as well.
