More than 600 students from around the nation attended the event, as well as visitors from every corner of the globe. The event, affiliated with the Hague International Model United Nations (THIMUN) Qatar, featured a weekend full of informative and inspirational workshops and sessions.
The Doha team included year 12 students Jeeveththaa Thirugnanasambanthar and Armaan Chaiwalla, who spoke at the event about mastering the art of public speaking. Principal Dr. Steffen Sommer directed a talk on what makes a successful leader. Year 13 student Anusha Khan, a member of the Student Executive Team, made a speech about her humble beginnings at MUN.
Doha College believes these students are part of a new generation of innovators, pioneers and leaders showcased at the QLC.
