Ooredoo Oman has named a new acting CEO to fill in following the resignation of Greg Young.
Ooredoo Oman, an internationally
recognized communications company delivering mobile, fixed, broadband internet
and corporate managed services molded to meet the needs of customers and
businesses throughout the Middle East, North Africa and Southeast Asia,
accepted Young’s resignation on Oct. 19.
The company appointed Chief Financial Officer Jorgen Latte
as acting CEO until the company hires a new CEO to take the
reins of the billion-dollar company.
For 2015, the company documented $8.8
billion in revenue and had a consolidated global customer base of 117 million
customers as of Dec. 31, 2015.
