While on a visit to Bahrain, a delegation
from Sharjah Media Centre (SMC) chaired by Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Khalid Al Khalifa at the minister’s office.
Al Qasimi is a member
of the Sharjah Executive Council, United Arab Emirates, and chairman of the
Sharjah Media Centre (SMC).
The minister of foreign affairs warmly
welcomed the delegation and took the position of directing contribution,
activities, programs, and goals of the SMC regarding strategic development. A
large part of the success of SMC is thanks to the exposure offered by the
media. The minister wished them further success and growth.
The delegation, along with the chairman, voiced
their appreciation of the work and positive role of the foreign minister in
connection with the communication initiatives and developmental projects.
Before leaving, the delegation recognized
the quality of the media in the kingdom of Bahrain, which is currently under
strategic changes, and voiced support and encouragement for Bahrain and its
continued growth.
