Abu Dhabi-based developer Aldar Properties has awarded Dutch Foundation & Concrete Rehabilitation Company an early works contract worth approximately $8.2 million for the first phase of its new luxury residential development, known as Mayan.
Located on Yas Island, Mayan consists of studios, one to four-bedroom apartments, beach-front villas and golf course homes.
Residents have access to numerous swimming pools, gyms, children play areas, club, an exclusive concierge service, private parking, and everything that Yas Island has to offer -- such as Yas Mall, Yas Waterworld and Yas Marina. They will also be able to enjoy views of the island's clear blue waters and natural mangroves, the lush green fairways of the Yas Links golf course and Abu Dhabi's skyline.
Under the contract, Dutch Foundation & Concrete Rehabilitation Company will provide piling, shoring and earthwork services for 512 of Mayan's luxury apartments over the next five months.
"The enthusiasm for Mayan since its launch last year has been extremely encouraging," Aldar Properties Chief Development Officer Talal Al Dhiyebi said. "We have witnessed strong demand for luxury residences in prime locations, and Mayan caters to this demand with high quality homes in Abu Dhabi's most exciting destination, Yas Island which is home to a number of world class amenities and attractions."
