The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s
office in Seoul, South Korea, recently organized a meeting with a trade and
industrial delegation from Hwaseong City.
More than 30 companies sent representatives
with the delegation.
Al-Taher Al-Kindi, second deputy chairman of the Abu
Dhabi Chamber, spoke during the meeting and called on Korean companies to
increase investments in Abu Dhabi and hold strategic partnerships with companies
operating in the emirate. Al-Kindi mentioned that the Abu Dhabi Chamber opened
the Seoul branch last year in an effort to attract more Korean companies.
For his part, Choi Woon, chairman at the Hwaseong Chamber of
Commerce and Industry, stated that the delegation included representation from
10 pivotal sectors of Korean industry. These representatives seek to increase
cooperation with Emirati companies, especially in oil, gas and petrochemical
technologies, as well as the vehicle and machinery industry.
Helal Al-Hameli, deputy director general of the Abu
Dhabi Chamber, attended the meeting along with representatives from more than 30
Emirati companies.
