The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently
announced the fourth cycle of the International Franchise Conference
and Exhibition 2016 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC), which
will take place Dec. 14-15.
“This exhibition is a key element to Abu Dhabi strategy and
vision in increasing the contribution of the private sector to growth and
economic diversity by offering more investment opportunities and encouraging
companies to transfer experiences, knowledge and capabilities,” Helal Al-Muhairi, director general of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, said.
Al-Muhairi noted that the event will bring together
important franchise executives from Britain, Egypt, Italy, Singapore, China,
France, Portugal, Croatia and America. He stated that the conference will focus
on expanding opportunities for Emirati entrepreneurs.
“This event will support the approaches of the economic
vision of the emirate in expanding the franchise base to include new economic
fields in services, industry, training, tourism and consultations and to help
Emirati and GCC trademarks to occupy advanced positions and to spread across
the globe which would strengthen the position of the UAE on the franchise map,”
Al-Muhairi said.
