The world's fastest-growing airline company is expanding yet again, as Qatar Airways adds eight more cities to its expanding list of destinations.
The latest additions are supplemental to the seven
which were announced earlier in the year, bringing this year’s new cities to a
total of 15.
The more than 150 destinations are spread across six continents
with the latest additions, including Canberra, the fifth destination in
Australia; Dublin, Ireland; Las Vegas, the 11th destination in the United
States; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Santiago, Chile; Medan, Kualanamu
International Airport, the third destination in Indonesia; Tabuk and Yanbu, the
ninth and 10th destinations in Saudi Arabia.
The list of new cities already announced for 2017 includes Douala, Cameroon; Chiang Mai, the fourth destination in Thailand; Libreville,
Gabon; Nice, France; Sarajevo, Bosnia; Skopje, Macedonia; and the longest
commercial flight in the world begins Feb. 5, 2017, on its route to Auckland, New
Zealand.
