The 45th UAE National Day was
celebrated with a number of traditional activities by the Dubai Chamber of
Commerce and Industry.
The day’s events were attended by Chairman Majid Al Ghurair and President and CEO Hamad Buamim, in addition to the
chamber’s staff members and consumers in the commons area outside chamber
headquarters.
The UAE flag was swathed over the
exterior wall of the chamber’s building and offices hosted décor of the
national colors. Participants of the event were invited to indulge in Emirati
local cuisine, enjoy the company and hospitality of other locals, and take in
the musical talent of performers while shopping at the souk.
“This 45th National Day is indeed
an occasion for us to express our feelings of love, loyalty, and gratitude to
our country and its wise leadership,” Al Ghurair said. “The UAE’s journey
since its founding is nothing short of remarkable, and we look forward to
carrying this rich legacy forward. Dubai Chamber is proud to have
been part of the UAE’s transformation into a global center of trade and
commerce. We will continue to play an active role in
leading the local business community to contribute toward the economic progress
of the country.”
Before the day concluded, Al
Ghurair showed his appreciation for the success of the 45th UAE National Day
to the president of the UAE, Mohammed Al
Maktoum, and other rulers of the
Emirates.
