The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently celebrated
the 45th UAE National Day through a variety of events presided over
by Majid Al Ghurair, chairman of the chamber, and Hamad Buamim, its president and CEO.
The chamber’s
staff and customers participated.
“This 45th National Day is indeed
an occasion for us to express our feelings of love, loyalty, and gratitude to
our country and its wise leadership,” Al Ghurair said in his
welcome address. “The UAE’s
journey since its founding is nothing short of remarkable, and we look forward
to carrying this rich legacy forward.”
Al Ghurair took time to thank and congratulate Khalifa Al Nahyan, president of the UAE, and Sheikh Mohammed Al Maktoum, vice president and ruler of
Dubai.
“Dubai Chamber is proud to have
been part of the UAE’s transformation into a global
center of trade and commerce,” Al Ghurair said. “We will
continue to play an active role in leading the local business community to
contribute toward the economic progress of the country.”
