The General Assembly of the Arab-Austrian Chamber of Commerce
and eighth session of the Arab-Austrian Economic Forum took place in Vienna
Nov. 25-26.
Qatar Chamber Director General Saleh al Sharqi took part in
the event.
This forum, held under the theme Oil Energy and the Rise of
Renewable Energies, worked to outline the challenges faced in the future of
fossil energy and offer forward thinking ideas and technologies for increasing
production revenue.
The forum also delved into options for alternative
renewable energies and new resource options.
Finally, participants took a look
at the challenges in the production and use of electricity and how to best
address the problems that occur during peak hours of energy use.
