The graduation projects of students
from the College of Mass Communication and Humanities of Ajman University
were recently placed in an exhibition titled “Positive Community.”
Acting Chancellor
of Ajman University Dr. Khalid Al Khaja inaugurated the exhibition, hosted
at the Sheikh Zayed Center for Conferences and Exhibitions.
In addition to the family members and
friends of the graduating students, department heads, faculty members and representatives
also attended the inauguration. Dr. Abdul Al-Nuaimi, vice
chancellor for development and communication; Dr. Hussam Salama, dean at the College of Mass Communication and Humanities; and other deans also participated
in the event.
Work from 50 students was showcased
within the exhibit, representing the studies of Graphic Designing, PR, Radio and
Television, and Journalism.
Al Khaja toured the exhibition and
voiced appreciation and pride for the dedication and obvious hard work from the
students. He went on to say that students’ work spoke to the very title of the event: each of the students portrayed a more positive side of the Ajman
University community through the creative projects.
Al-Nuaimi noted the work of the faculty at the university and voiced appreciation that their dedication was reflected in the work.
Before concluding the exhibition, Al Khaja gave thanks to the organizations -- including Media House,
charity institutions, Ajman Municipality and others -- who have supported both the
students and the event.
