Oman Air, the sultanate’s national carrier,
recently signed a partnership agreement with leading telecom provider Omantel.
Through the agreement, the companies will utilize the functionality and features
of each of their customer loyalty programs for mutual benefit.
“At Oman Air, we aim to provide the best possible services to
our clients, readily adopting innovative new procedures that will enhance our
commercial position and expand the reach of our services to our clients
wherever they may be,” Dr. Abdulrazaq Al-Raisi, executive vice president of corporate services and business development at Oman Air, said. “This agreement melds perfectly
into our strategy, enabling us to easily implement it in the best possible
way.”
Al-Raisi noted that Omantel has sales outlets throughout the
nation and a multitude of call centers, which means the partnership should help
Oman Air enhance customer service.
“We signed this partnership in
order to enhance the experiences of our valued customers and to indirectly
widen the scale and reach of the services and products we provide,”
he said. “It also enables us to maximize
the value of the rewards and exclusive promotions provided through the Oman Air
passenger loyalty program ‘Sindbad’ and the Omantel customer loyalty program
‘Makasib.’”
