Qatar Airways earned a Mercury Award for Best Premium Service Concept 2016.
The airline received the award for its exceptional catering services on-board its flights to more than 150 destinations spanning across six continents.

Qatar Airways provides its premium passengers with cuisine from award-winning chefs, in addition to access to on-demand a la carte menu. Passengers can choose from a variety of appetizers, main courses and desserts. Its meals are prepared with the freshest and finest ingredients, and are accompanied by a range of refreshments. Passengers can enjoy the delectable dishes while seated in spacious, extra-wide seats. The airline can also accommodate a wide selection of special dietary needs including meals that are vegetarian, low-calorie, non-lactose and gluten-free.
