Saudis back Jordan in terrorism fight

Saudi Arabia supports Jordan in the fight against terrorism, in particular along the Iraqi border, the Saudi foreign minister said recently.

Adel Al-Jubeir said the countries are cooperating to monitor threats along the border, and that Saudi Arabia backs Iraq in its efforts to end terrorism, such as the genocide committed by the Iranian militiaman called Gasem Sulaimani.

Al-Jubeir also said that in support of Iraq’s unity, sovereignty and integrity, Saudi Arabia believes no armed sectarian organization can be allowed to stand.

Nasser Judeh, the foreign minister for Jordan, also recently said that he hopes Arab leaders can come together at the Arab Summit to consult on how to confront challenges like terrorism.
