A recent trip to Niger by the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) ended with the countries signing a pact to improve their economic relationship.
CSC Vice Chairperson Eng.
Shuwaimi Al Kattab and Moussa Sidi
Mohammed, president of the Niger Chamber of Commerce, inked the seven-article agreement to strengthen and increase trade agreements and investments.
Eng. Al Kattab said Saudi Arabia sees numerous opportunities in Niger, specifically in the sectors of oil, petrochemicals, mining,
agriculture and livestock.
The pact means that leaders of the two countries will exchange information on
their respective economies regarding markets, productions, trade opportunities
and collaborations. The CSC and Niger’s Chamber of
Commerce also will take part in exhibitions and forums that promote networking
and sharing of ideas.
The two nations also agreed to support each other in the
event of trade disputes and discuss investment options
and collaborations.
