A
lecturer in the College of Engineering at Ajman University recently earned the title of “Top
Recruiter in UAE Section” from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics
Engineers (IEEE).
Tazeen Sharif, who also serves as an ambassador of the IEEE Women in Engineering, is the first UAE citizen to win the award.
“MGM
(member gets member) program boosts the recruitment drive by engaging the
senior members to share their experiences utilizing various platforms such as
workshop, webinars, face to face,” Sharif said. “The professional development
society holds regular sessions to create opportunities for new and old members
to benefit from the pool of experience and expertise.”
