Twenty-six hard-working business professionals who spent most of their recent weekends working as well were recently feted by the Bahrain
Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) and the University of Strathclyde.
The newly minted MBA graduates took weekend classes delivered in Bahrain by a team of academics from the Scottish university, which is consistently ranked among the world's best schools for business administration.
“The BIBF continuously strives to provide internationally
recognized education that matches local and regional business requirements,”
BIBF Deputy Director Ahmed Abdulhameed Al Shaikh said. “Our partnership with the University of Strathclyde is part of these
efforts and is considered one of our primary initiatives to provide the
opportunity for business professionals to receive one of the most highly sought-after MBAs in the world.”
Ron Bradfield, the director of
Strathclyde Programs in the GCC, said the partnership worked well for all involved.
“During its duration, our team of
experienced and professional business experts delivered Strathclyde’s highly specialized curriculum to the participants, with emphasis on
objectiveness and real market conditions," he said.
