Ajman University (AU) students were recently welcomed to an exhibit at Abu Dhabi's Fine Arts Centre to gain insight into how artists can overcome all kinds of challenges when it comes to their craft.
"Saudi Reflections" showcased the work of more than 100 Saudi Arabian artists who struggle with disabilities or illness, including cancer. The students, who got the chance to meet some of the artists, were the guests of the United Arab Emirates-based Cultural Attaché office of
Saudi Arabia.
Mona Al Jabali, who is in charge of the Fine Arts Centre at AU,
accompanied the AU students to the exhibition.
While the Ajman University of Science &
Technology is primarily focused on business, engineering, law, medicine,
teaching and technology, the school encourages students to express their
creative side through the art center.
