A delegation from the
Ajman Medical Zone got an up-close look at what goes on inside Ajman
University's noted Innovation Center Ajman (ICA).
The group took a tour of ICA’s incubation spaces, where incubatees work
on their projects aimed at addressing everything from industrial issues
to societal needs.
ICA Director Abdullah Ismail and Farah Sarraj, director of the
Office of Development, talked with the delegation about the ICA's
operations, facilities and
major events.
For its part, the medical delegation discussed idea competition,
certifications and business incubation processes, among other topics.
The ICA was
established to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the United Arab Emirates. The center’s
goal is to deliver rapid and sustainable growth to the national economy, which
will help the UAE meet its goals for Vision 2021.
