Latvia President Raimonds Vējonis recently accepted the credentials of Ahmed Saif Al Moudhadi as Qatar's ambassador to the Balkan nation, Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced.
Vējonis asked Al Moudhadi to extend his greetings to Qatari Emir Sheikh
Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and offered his wishes for health and happiness to the emir and the people of Qatar. He also wished Al Moudhadi good luck and said he would help in any way possible to increase bilateral
relations in multiple fields between Qatar and Latvia.
For his
part, Al Moudhadi expressed the greetings and well wishes of Al-Thani to the president and the people of Latvia.
