Venezuelan
President Nicolás Maduro recently
sent a letter to Qatar Emir Tamim
bin Hamad Al-Thani in
the hopes of building a stable and beneficial relationship between
their countries, particularly in the areas of economics and energy, Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reported.
The
letter came as Qatar’s minister
of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, entertained
his
Venezuelan
counterpart,
Minister of Foreign Affairs Delcy Rodriguez, as
well as Venezuela’s Energy
minister,
Eulogio del Pino. The diplomats
visited
Qatar to
discuss areas of mutual interest.
