Rockwell Schnabel, chairman of the Pacific Council on
International Policy in California, and an accompanying delegation recently met with Ibrahim Al-Mahmoud, first deputy chairman, at
the Abu Dhabi Chamber’s Tower.
The two
sides talked about cooperation and how to grow trade exchange between companies
in California and Abu Dhabi. Al-Mahmoud noted the chamber’s eagerness to
enhance cooperation, especially in industries the Abu Dhabi Plan’s economic vision
showcases – education, healthcare, defense and industries, tourism and transportation.
Mohamed
Helal Al-Muhairi, director general of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, gave a
presentation during the meeting about the chamber’s roles and responsibilities in
providing services for member companies. He noted that the chamber actively
works to enhance Abu Dhabi’s business environment and attract foreign
investors. The chamber delivered services to 100,000 people and companies in
2016.
