United Arab Emirates University vice chancellor honors Emirati women on International Women's Day

Mohamed Albaili, vice chancellor of the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), recently honored Emirati women on International Women’s Day, saying that women have significantly contributed to the country in educational, professional, leadership and government sectors.
 
According to Albaili, Emirati women have equipped themselves to compete in all fields on an international level. Albaili praised the country’s leadership, which calls for empowering women politically, socially and educationally. The UAE strives for women to play a great role in society and help contribute to the nation’s goals and aspirations as it looks to execute the the country's national agenda.
 
Albaili noted that this position is supported by Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, chairwoman of the General Women's Union, supreme chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and president of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood. Mubarak advocates for the welfare, wellbeing and leadership positions of Emirati women.
