A delegation from the Emirates and Abu Dhabi Business Women Councils took part in the International Women’s Leadership Association conference in Monaco.
The event, which involved delegations from more than 60 countries, included sessions on the role of women in attracting investments and on how to develop better investment climates that attract women investors and business women, according to an Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce announcement.
Heading the Abu Dhabi delegation was Farida Qambar Al-Awadhi, first deputy chairperson of the Emirates Business Women Council. The delegation included Reed Hamad Al-Shiryani, board member of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, the Emirates Business Women Council and ADBWC; Raghda Treem, board member of the Emirates Business Women Council; Huda Al-Matroushi, member of the executive board of the ADBWC; and Shafiqa Al-Ameri, director of the ADBWC.
The participation of the Emirates and Abu Dhabi Business Women Councils was part of their keenness to habilitate and train women entrepreneurs.
