The International Chamber of Commerce Qatar (ICC Qatar) recently held its third board meeting, which created two additional commissions: the Digital Economy Commission and Trade and Investment Policy Commission.
The board meeting was chaired by Chairman of ICC Qatar and Qatar Chamber Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani. The meeting was held in the presence of vice chairman Ali Abdullatif Al Misnad and Chief Operating Officer of the International Chamber of Commerce Secretariate Philip Kucharski.
Others who attended the meeting include ICC Qatar Secretary General Remy Rowhani and Qatar Chamber and ICC Qatar Director of International Relations and Chamber Affairs Sheikha Tamader Al Thani. Board members included Sheikh Saoud bin Nasser Al Thani, Ooredoo Group CEO; Alistair Routledge, president and general manager of ExxonMobil Qatar Inc.; and Guillaume Chalmin, managing director of Total EP Qatar.
Sheikh Khalifa spoke at the meeting, stating the ICC Qatar has achieved many great things since its establishment.
“We have proven our presence globally throughout a number of initiatives such as the World Trade Agenda,” Sheikh Khalifa said in a press release.
