The Board of Trustees reviewed the results of the graduation projects funded by the Center relating to the "Emirates Exploration Project 2020", scientific and awareness activities, workshops, events and lectures in space technology sciences, the 2018 strategic plan and discussion of future projects.

The National Center for Space Science and Technology was established by the Emirates Space Agency, the United Arab Emirates University and the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) in November 2016. It is the first of its kind in the Middle East and serves as an incubator for research, development and innovation.
