Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on July 8.
During the meeting, both sides discussed economic
relations and the business environment in each of Abu Dhabi and Moldova. They
discussed cooperation opportunities for the private sector as well.
H.E. Al Mheiri explained to the visiting delegation the
services of the Abu Dhabi Chamber as well as the most significant initiatives
the Chamber took towards supporting and empowering the business sector in the
emirate.
The Director General also highlighted the many features
investors can get and the investment opportunities available in Abu Dhabi, all
under an attractive and flexible economic and legislative system, calling
companies in Moldova to visit Abu Dhabi and discuss economic and business
cooperation between the two sides.
For his part, H.E. Victor Haruta praised the welcome he
received at the Chamber, expressing high hopes in deepening cooperation
relations between the two sides. He said, “Abu Dhabi is one of the most
important economic centers on the economic and practical levels”, adding that
there are many investment opportunities available for the private sector. He
emphasized on the importance of exchanging visits and delegations.
The Ambassador stated that his visit to the Chamber comes
to coordinate the organization of a trade forum for the private sector that
brings Emirati and Moldovan investors and businessmen under one roof, hoping
that this forum will act as a bridge and a gate to joint economic cooperation
and to conclude a number of trade and investment agreements. He called on
Emirati companies to invest in Moldova, especially in promising sectors
including agriculture, foodstuff, and ITC.
