COUNCIL OF SAUDI CHAMBERS: The Council of Saudi Chambers and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry sign a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in private education

Council of Saudi Chambers issued the following announcement on Dec. 13.

The Council of Saudi Chambers, represented by the National Committee for Education and Training and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry represented by the Education Committee on the sidelines of the 52nd meeting of the Federation of Gulf Chambers in the Sultanate of Oman, signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation and coordination in the field of private education.

The memorandum was signed by the Chairman of the Council of Saudi Chambers, Dr. Sami bin Abdullah Al-Obaidi, and the President of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Samir Abdullah Nass, in the presence of the Secretary-General in charge of the Council, Hussein Al-Abdul Qadir.

This cooperation starts between the Council of Saudi Chambers and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry driven by the directions of economic integration between the chambers of commerce in the Federation of Gulf Chambers and in order to achieve its goals aimed at building an educational system that performs its hoped-for role in the knowledge development of the sons of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and also affirms the important role played by the education sector For all its stages in the education system in the GCC countries and to enhance its contributions in raising the proportion of investment in the Gulf knowledge economy and its development to reach the global knowledge competition, as well as the common desire of both sides to develop and raise a way out V special education and increase the size of its investments and investment GCC national competencies.

The Memorandum of Understanding aims to enhance the areas of joint cooperation between the Council of Saudi Chambers and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, by employing the capabilities and practical and practical experiences of both sides in developing the private education sector and expanding its development and knowledge participation.

The scope of cooperation, according to the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding, includes basic areas represented in: activating the role of the private education sector in economic and knowledge integration between the two countries, serving the interests of the sector and representing it before the official authorities, enhancing its role in formulating economic trends related to it, and providing facilities for the sector in the field of studies and information Training and exhibitions, and work to integrate it within the global knowledge system, and facilitate joint economic knowledge investment in the education and training sector, and the promotion of investment opportunities in the sector, and support education and training programs and local accreditation institutions etc. Léger and to raise international education and training outcomes of the two countries.
