Tom Hasker, formerly Middle East director of project management for Faithful + Gould, an Adkins subsidiary, has been promoted to managing director of the region for the design and engineering giant, known for its work on the Burj Al Arab, Dubai Metro, and Bahrain World Trade Center.
Adkins has 750 employees in the Middle East, including offices in Mecca, Riydah, Kuwait City, Manama, Muscat, and Dubai.
Hasker worked as an Abu Dhabi-based regional director for Confluence, a Singapore-headquartered project management firm, until its acquisition by Adkins in October 2013. He started his career as a project engineer with Walter Construction Group in Australia.
Current Adkins projects include King Abdulaziz international Airport in Saudi Arabia, the Central Planning Office in Qatar, and the Etihad Railway in the UAE.
