Brightpoint Royal Women’s Hospital opened last week as Abu Dhabi’s first private hospital dedicated to serving women, a move health authorities hope will help bridge a gap in UAE health care services for women.
The UAE capital is experiencing strain on maternity and other women’s health services as the population increases, which means Brightpoint’s launch will come as welcome news for women living in the capital.
The new hospital is a 100-bed facility that offers women first-class care with state-of-the-art technology and an emotionally supportive environment.
NMC Healthcare, a UAE-based company, owns and operates Brightpoint Royal Women’s Hospital. Dr. Chandrakumari Raghuram Shetty, NMC’s group medical director, said the hospital is focused on making an impact on Abu Dhabi’s entire population.
“The exceptional services offered at Brightpoint focus not only on producing healthy mothers and babies, but also on healthier generations of women and a healthier community as a whole,” Shetty said. “We are very happy to be easing the strain on women’s health services in Abu Dhabi with a holistic approach, ensuring women feel cared for as individuals, that their time is valued and their wishes for both them and their family members are listened to.”
To meet those needs, Brightpoint Royal Women’s Hospital offers a full range of services and many options for birth methods and maternity suites -- including a luxurious Royal Suite with extra bedrooms to ensure patients’ loved ones are nearby.
