The United Kingdom-based University of Essex is hoping to draw Saudi Arabian professionals seeking to improve skills and career prospects to the school’s part-time online Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program.
The MBA offered by University of Essex Online is an internationally recognized degree that aims to prepare students for successful corporate careers. The online services are delivered by Kaplan Open Learning, which specializes in online education.
The program focuses on important business and managerial skills that can provide Saudi students with the knowledge and expertise required to succeed in management roles. Students learn key leadership and business theories that can be applied to real-life organizational and management situations.
Students have the option of specializing in human resource management, marketing or finance. The length of study for a University of Essex MBA is two years on average and allows students to interact with their classmates via a virtual learning platform.
Modules for the MBA program include Management, Financial Decision Making, Human Resource Management, Operations Management, Strategic Management, Marketing Principles and more.
To be eligible for the program, prospective students must hold a bachelor’s degree plus have a minimum of three years’ relevant work experience. Applicants with no undergraduate degree must have a minimum of five years' experience. Students must be proficient in English at a level equivalent to an IELTS score of 6.5.
