Oman Arab Bank (OAB) recently installed
NCR Aptra Activate software
in its branches, which will make banking an omnichannel function.
The new technology, dubbed Activate, will effortlessly combine new automated teller machine (ATM) features with the services that are already in place at Oman Arab Bank locations.
"ATMs remain a cornerstone of OAB's transformation strategy, and with the adoption of NCR Aptra Activate software we pave the way for enhanced customer experience and the ability to offer a whole new range of transactions," OAB Chief Executive Officer Amin Al Husseini said. "The unique ability of this software to integrate with our current and future infrastructure allows us the freedom to share common resources across channels and optimize costs."
NCR products will continue to be part of the OAB landscape as the bank grows.
"This will truly be a game-changer for the bank, creating an inflection point in how consumers connect, interact and transact with OAB," Habib Hanna, managing director NCR for South Gulf and Pakistan, said.
