Etihad Airways' Future Leaders programme graduates record number of students

Etihad Airways’ Future Leaders technical engineering program graduated 280 United Arab Emirates (UAE) nationals Wednesday.

In total, the Future Leaders program graduated 82 technical engineers, 37 graduate managers, 13 airport operations managers and five sales managers. In a partnership with Fursati Foundation Program, Ethaid also graduated 53 students and four graduates from the Sabre program. Fursati expects to add more 500 people to its staff in the next two years.

“We offer our congratulations to the record number of Emirati men and women who have today graduated from the Etihad Airways future leaders program”, Etihad Airways CEO James Hogan said. “The graduation ceremony marks a great moment in the graduates’ careers, and they can each look forward to a fulfilling career with Etihad Airways. Etihad Airways continues to invest in the training and development of UAE nationals and these Future Leaders will go on to play a key part in the supporting the long-term development of the airline.”

Etihad Airways currently has 2.700 people in their team and aims to employee 6.000 more people by 2020.
